Every trainer in NuPalz knows about Skipper's Lake - the perfect spot for skipping stones. The water is impossibly calm, the stones on the shore are perfectly smooth, and something about the place just feels... ancient.

Most assume the lake is named for the activity. "Skipper's Lake - where you skip stones!" they say. But the old-timers whisper different stories. They speak of something that slumbers in the deep... an ancient being called Skipper, the Eternal Dreamer, who has been collecting every stone that touches his waters for millennia.

They say only a truly legendary skip - one that defies physics and probability alike - can stir the Dreamer from his slumber. And those who manage it? Well... Skipper rewards those who disturb his dreams. Usually.
