Feature Spotlight: Sybil's Soup Kitchen — Free Meals for Trainers in Need

Most of Nutopia is built around earning, winning, and climbing. Sybil's Soup Kitchen is the warm exception — a corner of the world built on plain kindness, where no pal goes hungry no matter how thin your wallet gets. If you're new, between paydays, or just had a rough run at the tables, the Soup Kitchen has your back. Here's what this quietly generous feature does, who it's for, and how to use it.

What Sybil's Soup Kitchen Is

Sybil's Soup Kitchen is a free meal hall run by Sybil, the Generous Chef, whose whole motto is “where no pal goes hungry.” Visit once a day and Sybil serves up a hot meal that feeds every one of your palz at once — no NP required, ever. It exists for one reason: to make sure a temporary cash crunch never means a hungry companion. Keeping your palz fed is part of caring for them well (our companion care guide covers why hunger matters), and the Soup Kitchen makes sure that basic need is always within reach.

Who It's For

The Soup Kitchen is a deliberate safety net, not a grind tool — and that's why it comes with an eligibility line. If your total NP across your wallet and bank is under 100,000, you're welcome to a free meal whenever you need one. Once you've built past that threshold, Sybil will gently send you on your way: the kitchen is reserved for trainers who are genuinely short, and crossing 100,000 NP is a sign you've got your feet under you.

Good to Know
Graduating Out Is a Good Thing

If you visit and Sybil tells you that you have more than 100,000 NP, that's not a rejection — it's a milestone. You've grown past needing the safety net and can comfortably feed your palz yourself. The Soup Kitchen is there for the early days and the rough patches, exactly when it matters most.

How to Make the Most of It

While you're building up, treat the Soup Kitchen as part of your daily routine:

Sybil's Soup Kitchen won't make you rich, and it's not supposed to. It's the game's way of saying that every trainer deserves to care for their palz, flush or broke.
