May 2026 Platform Update: Stability Fixes and Reliability Improvements
This month's update focuses on something less flashy than a new game launch but equally important: making sure the systems you already use work exactly the way they should. We've fixed several issues affecting bank deposits, gacha rewards, fishing payouts, achievement tracking, and more.
Bank Deposits Fixed
Fix NP Bank Now Works Reliably
- Bank deposits no longer fail after completing. A bug was causing deposits to crash right after the transfer completed, which meant your NP moved correctly but the confirmation screen broke. This has been fixed — deposits now complete cleanly and show you the correct updated balance every time.
Gacha Capsule Item Grants
Fix Gacha Items Now Granted Correctly
- Gacha pulls now always deliver your item. In rare cases, a Gacha Capsule pull could deduct your currency without actually adding the item to your inventory. The underlying issue was a validation error that silently skipped the item grant step. This is now fixed — if you pay for a pull, you get your item. Period.
Skipper's Lake Achievements
Fix Achievements Now Save Properly
- Skipper's Lake achievements are no longer lost. A database timing issue meant that achievements earned during a Skipper's Lake session weren't being saved permanently. You'd qualify for an achievement, see it trigger, but it wouldn't stick. This has been resolved — all achievement progress in Skipper's Lake is now saved correctly.
Fishing Reward Accuracy
Fix Fishing Rewards Can No Longer Double-Settle
- Fixed a rare issue where fishing rewards could be claimed twice. Under very specific timing conditions, reeling in a catch could trigger the reward payout more than once, granting duplicate NP, PP, or Gemz. The system now enforces a strict one-reward-per-catch rule at the database level, preventing any possibility of double payouts.
Achievement System Accuracy
Improvement More Accurate Achievement Tracking
- Game-earned NP tracking is now accurate. The "NP Earner" and "NP Master" achievements track NP earned from games specifically. A bug was causing bank-to-wallet transfers to be counted as game earnings, which inflated progress toward these achievements by up to 46%. Moving NP between accounts is no longer counted — only NP actually earned from playing games contributes to these achievements.
QoL Achievement Email Improvements
- Achievement notification emails now display correctly. Font Awesome icons in achievement emails were rendering as raw text characters because email clients don't support icon fonts. Icons are now converted to emoji equivalents (e.g., the gem icon shows as 💎 instead of broken text).
- Reward labels fixed. Achievement emails were displaying rewards as "NP" when they should have shown "AP" (Achievement Points). The labels now match the actual reward type.
Additional Reliability Improvements
Improvement Transaction Safety Across the Platform
- Currency operations are more resilient. Several systems that handle NP, PP, and Gemz transactions have been updated to better handle edge cases. If something goes wrong mid-transaction, the system now correctly rolls back to prevent partial updates — you won't lose currency to a failed operation.
- Inventory updates are more secure. Item transfers, crafting results, and shop purchases now include additional ownership verification to ensure items can only be modified by their rightful owner.
- Leaderboard payouts improved. The weekly leaderboard reward distribution now processes each winner independently, so a problem with one payout doesn't affect anyone else's rewards.
