Feature Spotlight: The NuPointz Bank — Earn Daily Interest on Your NP

Not every NuPalz feature shouts for attention. Some just quietly make you richer while you're off playing something else — and the NuPointz Bank is the best example. If your NP is piling up in your wallet doing nothing, this spotlight is for you. Here's what the bank does, how its daily interest works, and why your savings belong there instead of in your pocket.

What the NuPointz Bank Is

The NuPointz Bank is where you park the NP you're not spending right now so it can earn daily interest. NP sitting in your wallet is just NP sitting there. The same NP in the bank grows a little every single day — for free, with nothing for you to do but deposit it. You can move money in and out whenever you like, and every transaction is logged so you always know where your NP went.

How It Works at a Glance

How the Daily Interest Works

Interest is calculated on your bank balance and credited once a day, at midnight EST. Each day your NP stays deposited, it earns a little more — and because collected interest lands in your bank balance rather than your wallet, it stacks on top of what you've already saved and earns interest of its own going forward.

Good to Know
Take a Break Without Losing a Cent

You don't have to log in at the stroke of midnight to benefit. If you're away for a few days, your interest simply accumulates and waits — when you come back, several days' worth is sitting there ready to collect in one tap. The bank rewards patience, not babysitting.

Interest arrives by itself every night; Collect only takes a day early

Interest does not wait to be collected. The bank's nightly run adds one day of interest to every bank balance at 03:00 UTC (11 PM Eastern in summer, 10 PM in winter), whether or not you log in, and it lands in your bank balance, where it earns interest from the next day on. The Collect button only takes the day that begins at midnight UTC, ahead of that run, and never more than seven days at once. So the Collect line in the list above, the midnight Eastern time, and the days “waiting” for you are all out of date: a few days away simply means a few days of interest already in your balance. Each day's interest is your balance times your tier's daily rate, raised by your subscription's bank bonus if you have one, up to 50,000 NP a day, and since today it is paid to the cent at the rate of the tier your balance is in. The bank page counts down to midnight UTC.

Climb the Savings Tiers

The bank rewards bigger savers. As your bank balance grows past each threshold, you unlock the next savings tier — and higher tiers earn a higher interest rate, so the more you keep saved, the faster it grows. Your account screen shows a progress bar toward the next tier and how much more you need to reach it, all the way up to the top tier. It turns saving into its own little progression to chase.

Why Bother Banking Your NP?

Because idle NP is wasted NP. A few good reasons to open an account today:

Think of it as the easiest habit in Nutopia: every time you finish a session, sweep the NP you don't need into the bank. It will be a little bigger every morning. And while you're stacking free currency, the Daily Bonus streak rewards are another no-cost way to pad your balance just for showing up.

Open Your Account

Deposit your NP, watch it grow, and climb the savings tiers. The NuPointz Bank is open and waiting.
