Tech types operate on a fundamentally different logic than organic elemental families. - System analysis: Tech types scan opponents for weaknesses before committing to an attack. In combat, this manifests as increased critical-hit rates and the ability to partially bypass defensive stats. Corelix’s AI Analysis ability is the clearest expression: its Tech attacks ignore a portion of the target’s Defense.
- Debug protocols: Tech types can identify and exploit status conditions more effectively than other families. Bytebug’s Debug Protocol lets its Tech attacks expose weaknesses in the target, creating openings for follow-up damage.

Its ability, Cheer Squad, buffs the entire party rather than dealing direct damage, making it a support anchor in team formats. Unique rarity — every trainer has one.
